The 2007 Ford Mustang is known as the model that made the Fifth Generation Mustang one of the greatest pony cars of all time. Solving many of the issues with the 2005 and 2006 models, most notably the infamous "live-axle" that had been apart of the Mustang heritage since it's introduction in 1964 was forgone for a solid axle that was attached to a stiff chassis, which greatly helped with creating a muscle car that also had responsive handling.
